Phyllis Kirk is a damsel in distress once more. She plays a radio operator working on an American freighter, which travels along the Thames throughout the movie. Unknown to Phyllis, she is the unwitting dupe of a diamond-smuggling racket. Police inspector John Bentley intends to arrest her, but instead,he falls in love with her. He figures that by allowing her to continue as she is doing , she'll eventually lead him to Mister Big-head of the criminal racket!
